Students have free access to Microsoft 365 Copilot/Office 365 Education with an active student email account.
If you currently have the apps on your computer, please skip to step #5.

  1. Go to www.office.com, and sign in to your school email account.

  2. On the Microsoft 365 Copilot Dashboard, select Install and more (top right). Click the drop-down and Microsoft 365 apps.

  3. This begins the installation.

    • If you see the prompt, “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”, select Yes.

  4. The installation is complete when you see the phrase, You're all set! Office 365 is installed now.

  5. To activate your Microsoft 365 Copilot account, open Word, sign in with your Fortis student email/password, and complete the prompts.

Note: Your school provides 5 licenses of Microsoft 365 Copilot (Office365)
